Caffe Lambro – Cameo Appearance on BBC Drama Father Brown

Caffe Lambro have been smugly grinning with pride recently after one of our fleet made a cameo appearance on the BBC show, Father Brown! Our little Italian prosecco van ‘Enzo’ has become quite the celebrity after Father Brown jumped on the back and whizzed across a golf course in hot pursuit of a criminal. Based on the stories by GK Chesterton, the BBC drama is about a Roman-Catholic crime solving priest, starring Mark Williams, also known as Arthur Weasley in the Harry Potter movies, and Sorcha Cusack, from Mrs Brown’s Boys and Coronation Street. Enzo wasn’t in the slightest bit starstruck as Mrs McCarthy drove him across the green with Father Brown’s cape flapping behind them.

Not only was Enzo a champion chariot but with his new celebrity hero status we’re not sure his ego will go unnoticed during the festival season this summer. He now thinks of himself as highly as Martin Kemp, another big actor to make an appearance in the TV show, following fame from Eastenders and pop stardom from his Spandau Ballet days. Enzo is still waiting for his custom-built trailer, and he’ll be waiting a long time while we’ve got bubbles on tap to serve.

Already confirmed for Parklife Festival, our fleet will be making many more appearances during the summer delivering prosecco to the party people in their droves. Still to be confirmed, we are hoping to be the chosen provider of bubbles at Download, Isle of Wight, TRNSMT, Latitude, Reading, Leeds, Kendal Calling and Blue Dot Festivals.

Unfortunately Enzo won’t be signing autographs for obvious reasons, but feel free to snap a selfie with any of our very popular vans, as they make their own cameo appearances during the 2018 Music Festival season. They’re already well-known for attracting the ladies last summer with their Italian charm, and feature in many a selfie on Facebook and Instagram. Have you tagged us yet on our instagram page here?
